Since 2007 STONEHURST has been moulding their creation of heightening and enlightening grooves into the ears of unsuspecting crowds. Their foot stomping beats, contagiously catchy riffs and captivating vocals, seem to attract new fans seamlessly without any signs of stopping.
Their songs have featured on the 2009 ‘Stonerfest Compilation’ and the 2011 ‘Hard ‘n’ Heavy CHARTdisc’, a compilation of Christchurch Bands, which has drawn further attention to their sound.

Stonehurst’s debut full length album self titled ‘Stonehurst’ is due for release in January 2013 and is set to stun fans new and old.
The album itself has everything you’d expect to hear from a rock n roll album, from head thrashing riffs, to heartfelt melodies and wailing guitar solos that will raise hairs on the arms of the listeners.
Starting their January tour on the 17th in their hometown at The Duxlive, this will be an event not to miss.
