Terrible Sons is the moniker for husband and wife Matthew Putra Suranta Karo-Karo Rumahgalo Richard Barus and Lauren Barus, who is more regularly known as the singer and songwriter L. A. Mitchell.

The songs that make up their forthcoming album, produced by David Long, were mostly unfinished doodles on Garageband, late-night scribblings and unrelated tales about life in a much changed and shrunken city after the Christchurch earthquakes. Folk songs with a little bit of Gris-Gris, Art Blakey and a bit of Emmylou. Two voices, a piano, an acoustic and a drummer who closes his eyes while playing.

"House of Mountain possesses a brooding, psychedelic urgency which they barely manage to contain behind a strong foundation of song-writing sensibility. Sexy & kind of twisted, these guys rock!"

18 year old Asti-Loren’s sound familiarises itself with pop giants like Ellie Goulding, Lorde and Lana del Rey. She draws influences from iconic bands such as Fleetwood Mac and The Zombies and intertwines this with a sense of darkness and depth through atmospheric layers and ambience.

Asti’s 9 track debut album which is written, produced and sung by her will be self-released later this year alongside a plethora of covers due.

Originally hailing from Christchurch, New Zealand, Asti has gained extensive experience in performing including a set at Warbirds Over Wanaka an international war show, attended by 60,000 people; She later performed on national television for the Anzac War Remembrance Day; performed as part of Christchurch City Chorus in a special performance in New York when she was 13; and performed a live session on Australian radio. Throughout her time in London from when she was 14-17 she regularly busked, and had many local gigs, and also was invited to perform at 'Westfield White City's' Ice skating rink, which previously had hosted artists such as Justin Bieber, Foxes and Taylor Swift.

Asti moved to London at the tender age of 14; and began studying at the prestigious Susi Earnshaw Theatre School as 1 of 56 students, which was also attended by the likes of Amy Winehouse.

My name is Zack Simpson. I am from Christchurch, New Zealand. I have been writing music since I was eleven. I started writing after I fell in love and had my heart broken. Also the Earthquakes had a huge impact on my life and helped me to write a lot of songs and also losing loved one. My life is music. And since music helped shaped my life and bring me through tough times, I would like to help others going through these tough times with my songs. I want to release an EP in the future and play around the world.

'Holly Arrowsmith is the new name in folk worth keeping your eye on.’

This Southern songstress is turning heads all over the world, with her acoustically driven stirring sound, poetic, thought provoking lyrics, and a distinctively haunting voice.

According to The Source: "This is the kind of C&W meets folk that strips everything but the honesty away, and what you're left with will leave you trembling.”

Born in the desert city of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Arrowsmith's nostalgic style echoes Americana- Folk legends, Bob Dylan and Joni Mitchell. Raised in the mountain valleys of New Zealand, it's no wonder her songs capture a reverence for nature.

Radius Kink is a band with no boss and no obvious career aspirations. Radius Kink challenge themselves to write, compose and perform their eclectic set of powerful music and thought provoking lyrics which focus on their stories, feelings and opinions. With a similar sound to Flaming Lips, Badly Drawn Boy, Pink Floyd, The Happy Mondays, Gorillaz, Pond, Jarvis Cocker, Early Split Enz, and Early Genesis.

Radius Kink’s live show are reminiscent of  the ‘Old School’, live performances of Patty Smith, Joan Jett and Janis Joplin

The performing members of Radius Kink, Gary Hendrikse, Dawn Hendrikse, Tim Busby and Steve Kirkeby are all based in Christchurch, New Zealand and play at various live music venues such as The Wunderbar, The Darkroom, Alvarados, Sullivans, New Brighton Festival, and Finnegans.

Rooted in music as far back as the fifties and sixties. Radius Kink’s Albums; Orange Room, Eulogy and Lobotomy are influenced by David Bowie, Neil Young, Queen, Elton John, Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd, Joan Jett, and Patti Smith .The results are intelligent blendings of open string acoustic rhythm guitar with punchy bass lines and complex vocal harmonies.  The result is moody, lyrically brilliant and leaves the listener with a sense of musical déjà vu.

The musical history of this team spans the last three decades with their current collaboration stronger and tighter than ever.
